- Read the question. No matter how great your essay is, if it doesn’t fulfill the requirements of the assignment you haven’t completed the task.
- Organize your ideas in a clear and coherent manner.
- Double-space and write in ink on one side of the page. I don’t mark your penmanship, but it is important that I’m able to read your good ideas.
- Manage your time.
- Review your essay if you have time. Here’s the chance to catch little errors in spelling and grammar and correct and missteps you might have made.
